To find the square root of 41, I found the two nearest perfect square, which happened to be 36 and 49. The I found what number was in the center of those two numbers. I found that 43 was in the center. I then figured out what number 41 was closest too, 36,43, or 49. It was closest too 43, narrowing the possible square roots too 6.2, 6.3, or 6.4. I decided that 6.4 would be too close too 43 so the answer would have to be 6.3.
