We did a thing where we used math to figure out when a contest would end. The contest was “Who will download the 25,000,000,000th app off the app store. On Feb 24th at 6:27, there had been 24,658,507,655 downloads. At 6:28, 24,658,541,892 downloads. At 6:29, 24,658,575,918. At 6:30, 24,658,610,121. I subtracted the four numbers then got the average of the answers.  The average was 34,155 downloads per minute. I then subtracted that from the number of downloads left until 25 billion (341,492,345) and got 9,998. I then divided that by go to get the hours left and got 166 point something or another. I then multiplied 166.0 by 60 to get the left over numbers and got 9,960. I then subtracted 9,960 from 9,998 and got 38. Meaning that there are 166 hours and 38 minutes left until 25 billion. 7 days and 38 minutes. it would end on March 2nd at 7:06.
